Connecting through Citrix NetScaler VPX (1000) 9.3 Access Gateway with Blackberry Playbook throws the error: “Application Unavailable” and “This app is not available at this time. Please wait for a few minutes and try again.”

Problem

You’re trying to access you Citrix XenApp 6.5 farm through a NetScaler VPX (1000) 9.3 Access Gateway with your Playbook but when you try to launch and application within with your Citrix Receiver, you receive the following error:

Application Unavailable

This app is not available at this time.
Please wait for a few minutes and try again.

Solution

While this can be caused by various reasons, one of them is if you do not have your backend Web Interface server’s XenApp Services Site set up properly.  Check to ensure that the settings are correct.
